Home of Glockners Place Marina & RV Park. We offer paved back in RV spots with full hookups, (Water, Sewer with 30/50-amp Electric). We are now renting out our 3-bedroom 2-bath Homeport Camp. The Homeport Camp can accommodate 8 people. We can also accommodate boats for short or long-term docking with water and electric. Overnight boat dockage is welcomed at the same RV rates. No sewer hookup for boats.
Glockners Place is a unique Private Marina & RV Park with a rental Camp located in the heart of the Big Branch National Refuge. Our location is secluded and away from town and highways, we are located toward the end of Hwy 434 South (Lake Road). When the blacktop ends, and the gravel road starts you are almost there, just one more mile South.
Enjoy our 100-foot dock on Bayou Lacombe next to your RV spot. Bring your small boat or rent a kayak locally. Enjoy Lake Pontchartrain, within view of your camping spot. There is an abundance of wildlife around the area for viewing. The sunrise and sunsets are amazing.
There is so much to do within a short drive of our location. New Orleans is a 40-min drive if you are looking to enjoy the city. There is a free public boat launch 500 yards up the road with lots of parking space. Enjoy all the nature trails in the local area or the St. Tammany Trace for walking and biking. There is a great local bait shop in town for all your fishing and boating needs. Great famous local restaurants under 15-min drive in Lacombe, Slidell, Mandeville and Covington. Lots of Festivals to enjoy.
